friday night I asked my wife if she wanted burgers and she agreeed so she went to the market and came back with pre-made patties. I took 1 for the top and one for the bottom and stuffed the middel with cheddar, jalepenos and onions and used a 3rd to seal the edges

I rarely make my own out of 100% cow. Recently I’ve been doing 1/3 ground chuck and 2/3 deer. Deer is pretty lean and balances higher-fat ground beef well. I have a ton on deer in the freezer to use up, but when I don’t have any around I tend to mix pig or turkey in with the beef.
